Bought this as a straight replacement of same fitted to my house. The original was three years old and the receiver failed. It would seem that they have modified that unit so hopefully it will last longer. Good product on the whole.

Easy to fit receiver to combi boiler. Easy to program sender. Took 30mins to do it all. Other reviews made it sound over complicated...it is not !
Only issue was to adjust frequency code, as the receiver was being turned on by a signal from a neighbour. This adjustment took no more than 5 mins. Can position sender anywhere in the house & therefore turn heating on/off from anywhere in the house. Very happy. If you are considering this product, dont be put off by the negative reviews. I would definitely recommend this item.
Connected this to my Worcester Bosch boiler and it works very well so far. Programming was fairly straightforward and manually turning on or off is a simple case of raising or lowering the temp using the up and down buttons. No complaints so far at this price.

Very happy with the product. It has replaced a thermostat I had downstairs that just turned the motorised valve off but left the boiler on. With this, I feel like I have a lot more control. During the spring (and cooler summer) mornings, it has turned on the heating when needed as opposed to setting the bolider to come on irregardless and then relying on the motorised valves to turn teh heating off. I am confident that this has already paid for it's self. If I had one grip, it is that the connector is very small and I needed to study the wiring diagram a biut before I (or my electrician for that matter) fully understood it.

As a person with no boiler knowledge, I was initially unsure as to how easy this would be to install. Checked it out on the forums and it is simplicity itself. 2 mains wires to power the receiver unit, and two communication wires - all four ores going to the boiler.
Very glad I installed this - full instructions were supplied and it has saved me a bundle of cash (plumber quoting £200 plus labour plus VAT).
Wireless range works well across a three bedroom bungalow with some pretty solid walls in between. no communication issues. Glad to have the facility to have up to five separate programmes during the week and also five additionl programmes at weekends when you would want the heatingon at different times. You can also temporarily override the current temperature setting if you want, and it will then reset that setting on the next program cycle.
Easy to use, easy to install, good wireless range and good flexibility in the qty of programmes per day. I would recommend this item.

O.k. the instructions for installation if you're replacing a thermostat that has just three wires going into it, are not there. Apart from that, the instruction booklet for operation is good, it's really easy to program, and the flexibility of placement of the thermostat part, and accuracy of the temperature make it a great purchase. I like the fact that I can have it switch down to 14 degrees at 10:30 at night automatically, because I no longer have to go back downstairs to check that I turned the heat down! It also has a frost mode and a sleep mode, all that you could want really.

Could not be happier with this thermostat. I use it table mounted with supplied bracket and not wall mounted. I found this gives greater and more accurate temperature control in the area of the house you are actually occupying. Very good RF range no problems with loss of signal due to brick work walls etc. Easy installation around 10 minutes max.
