Saw this advertised for £30, read the other reviews, looked elsewhere and everyone wanted the £60 for it. Bought it, arrived in no time (good seller) and I wedged it at the end of the bedroom in front of the window. My room is a furnace in the summer due to where it faces and, although this doesn't lower the ambient temp, it keeps air moving which on this extremely hot day (17/07/2013... 32 C) is a god send! It is powerful and also incredibly sturdy with a heavy base. Would I pay £30 for it? He'll yeah!!! Would I pay £60... If I'd experienced this at a friends and needed a decent powerful fan, I would be talked into it as proven tried and tested. The only issue is whether or not you are willing to part with £60 as its back up to full price. On a last note, yes it is noisy but its a constant so I've had no trouble switching off from it (even on full throttle) and getting a good nights sleep with a breeze on my toes! Breezy awesomeness!!

The fan is same as described, No doubt it is a bit noisy but for me that really does not matter since the quality is very good. I received the fan in 3 days and assembled it in 5 minutes. I could not find a fan of this quality cheaper than this price.

This fan is the most expensive fan I have ever bought, but by far the most powerful and effective.
I decided to 'splash out', because our current fans were just pushing the hot air around - this one cuts through the heat and delivers a strong cool breeze, even on the lowest setting.
This is possibly the only negative I have found with this fan - that the lowest setting is possibly too strong.
It does have a working noise - probably needed to generate the power, so its not the quietest, but this is no more than a background noise and doesn't stop you fom getting to sleep.
If it lasts this will have been an excellent purchase - if it doesn't I'll remark it.
