I purchased these last week. After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned but thought I'go for it. I didnt have anything to worry about, the fans arrived within 2 days, I put them together in a matter of minutes and had a breeze blowing away seconds after. The actual fans come with a solid round base and a 5 blade fan, so arent quite as the picture but they seem more sturdy with the round abase anyway. Quality of build isnt fantastic but it does what is says on the tin

As for the product itself - It's true, you get what you pay for. These fans are quite flimsy. But if you don't move them around a lot, and you have no youngsters charging around.. or pets running in and out - then this is perfect.. they do the job right. The blades are a little flimsy too. One of the fans rattles a little when it's on low. But I don't hear it when the fan is running at med or high speed.
I would recommend buying.

I ordered these fans one day ago and have already received them. They are great value, quite powerful and so quiet.
I dont think they are particularly flimsy, my last fan cost more and was the same as these. They definitely do the job they're supposed to do and that is keep us nice and cool in the hot weather. What more could we want..........
