It's a simple 4 minute job to attach the fan and grille to the Motor and screw the pole into the base, then switch on,
Compared to some other fans the Motor is extremely quiet, and the fan sound is minimal , just the gentle 'whoosh'
of the air moving.

Easy to put together - extra short pole is for desk fan use, so not needed if you want to as a floor stand. Smooth operation and not as noisy as most.
It has three speed settings which are obviously different and very useful to have. It seems to move the air more efficiently than other fans I have of the same size, and produces what seems to be a cooler breeze. This may be due to the unusual shape of the blades. There is a heavy insert for the base which holds it steady and prevents any wobble when at full speed.
You'll need a smallish screwdriver (flat head or crosshead) to tighten the screw holding the fan into the motor. Best use a short-handled screwdriver if you have one, as otherwise the frame gets in the way. No other tools are needed.
We've used it every night so far in this warm weather and had it's been a most welcome relief.

This is a great fan, the instructions were not that easy to follow! They make you think you have parts missing. it can also be quite nosy if you increase the speed, but happy overall
