This small fan actually packs rather a big punch, even though it's only 6"s wide. We have purchased this to go in our son's bedroom to keep him cool and for the 'white' noise as we have recently discovered it helps him to sleep. He has Complex Special Needs so wanted a fan to soothe him through the night. After trying a more expensive cream coloured tower fan from a company on Amazon (that was NOT CE Certified unlike this fan which IS, (meaning it was unsafe for use as had NOT been tested!), we went for this one. It comes with full, simple instructions and also do's and do not's which for a fan costing so little was surprising to see, and in a good way!
I'm using the heavy duty clip currently, and the fan is on a shelf in our son's room. It's very sturdy and doesn't move at all, even on the higher setting. It does not oscillate, but you can rotate it at the base to point in the direction you want it to. Don't waste your money on a desktop fan when you can get this one, which also converts to a desktop! On the lower setting you can hardly hear it at all, so we'll be using it on the higher one to give a bit of noise.
It also comes ready assembled and has no need for fiddly putting together or tiny screws to lose or try and put in poorly pre drilled holes! You just attach the clip with a large turn screw and away you go! Simple.
I chose express delivery and it arrived the day after dispatch, and before noon. I did have to contact Customer Service as I had received an email to say it would be delivered by standard delivery but that was an error, which was promptly and well dealt with, I can't recommend this seller highly enough, they were polite and explained what had happened within a few hours of me emailing them.
It arrived well packed and had 'fragile' tape on it, which again was a good thing as I wouldn't expect that on a fan. We plan to take it away with us too. What a brilliant little fan, I only wish we'd gone for this one FIRST and not the dangerous tower fan.
